Grilled Grapefruit

2 pink grapefruits
4 tablespoons of honey
60 g butter
4 tablespoons of Noilly Prat
(or another kind of vermouth)
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
2 pinches of pepper

Preparation

Halve the grapefruits and cut the pulp along the membranes. Remove the seeds.

Mix well the honey, butter, Noilly Prat, cinnamon, and pepper. Put the grapefruit halves in an ovenproof dish and distribute the seasoning mixture over the fruit. Allow to brown well under the grill (preheated at 150° C / 300° F).

Pork Cutlets with Kiwi Fruit Marinadel

Ingredients (for four persons):

4 pork cutlets
Oil and butter to fry       
2 eggs
2 tablespoons of cream
Flour
Breadcrumbs  
4 kiwi fruits
6 tablespoons of oil
Grounded pepper

Preparation:

Wash the cutlets under running water, dry with paper towels and beat with a tenderiser.

Peel the kiwi fruits and mash them with a fork, add oil and pepper, mix well.
 
Spread the kiwi marinade over the cutlets, put them in a recipient and cover with the rest of the marinade. Apart from being a tasty ingredient, the kiwi fruit also serves to tenderise the meat.

Leave the pork cutlets for about 2 hours in the refrigerator.
 
Take the meat out of the marinade and let it drain. Turn the cutlets in flour, then in beaten eggs (mixed with cream and pepper) and finally in breadcrumbs. Heat oil and butter in a pan, fry the cutlets on both sides until they are golden brown.
 
Serve the tender pork cutlets warm, for example with a delicious salad of snow peas and carrots.
