Our own representation in Rotterdam
Our subsidiary Global Fruit Point Services B.V. is our own service and control point in Rotterdam, Europe’s largest and most important port of entry – a significant contribution to quality assurance.
Our colleagues in Rotterdam are responsible for the entire quality control of the merchandise. Upon arrival of the vessels in Rotterdam and Antwerp we carry out our own quality inspection of incoming goods according to the most important criteria like outer appearance, freshness, size, and sugar content of the fruits. Random samples are regularly sent to QS-certified food laboratories for analysis.
All fruits undergo strict quality control before they are loaded into the truck for delivery to the customers.
